On Thursday 18th June, Year 5 went on a visit to Dudley Museum as part of our 'Uninvited Guests' topic; in which we have been learning all about the Saxons and Vikings.
Whilst at the museum we had the wonderful experience of role playing characters from two Viking Myths (How the Sea became Salty & How the Moon got it's Craters).
We also got to see lots of artefacts from both the Saxon and Viking era.We dressed up as Saxon children.
'Did you know the longer the belt of a Saxon the wealthier he would have been.'
This is because leather was a very costly material and therefore only the wealthy could afford a long belt.
What a busy day!
