Egypt Day

Despite the snow, we had a wonderful Egypt Day to round off our topic this term. Most of the children turned up in fabulous Egyptian costumes! We had a super morning building pyramids - even the Express & Star turned up to find out what we were up to!
In the afternoon, we had lots of fun playing an Ancient Egyptian game called Senet. We finished the afternoon with a mummy making contest, working in groups to wrap one team member upĀ using toilet paper! Miss Henworth had the tricky job of judging the best one!
