Famous Monuments

Within our Stone Age topic we have looked at Stonehenge, a famous Stone Age monument that is still around today after being built nearly 5000 years ago! We had the opportunity to go and research our favourite monument from around the world and create a poster about it. We had lots of fun!

We also made Stonehenge out of biscuits!

We used different biscuits to represent the different stones. The boubons are for the Bluestones, the custard creams are for the Sarsen Stones and the marshmellows are for the holes that were left from the logs that were used to lift the stones into place!
