I was a pupil at Sledmere way back in 1980!! But I can still remember every moment even today at the age of 35!! Mr Ramsden was the Headteacher during the 80's,the teachers I still remember today back then were Mrs Powers,Mrs Dooner, Miss Hughes,Miss Ralph and Miss Banks as the secretary. All I can say is I have had a wonderful time in those days at Sledmere and I always miss it even today....

I really miss Sledmere and especially Yr 6! If you are in year 6 now just try your hardest. Trust me, it'll all pay off in the end. Just give it all you've got and make the most of your last year at Sledmere. It's your only chance to shine and make your school proud!!!!!!!

Hello Sledmere! I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you. I go to a high school called, Highfields Science Specialist School. After Sledmere I went to Warstones Primary School. I have to say maybe Sledmere is better because I was there longer. I am in 7B and I have made loads of new friends but I'll never forget you! Year 6 don't fret about SATs because once your doing them they seem like normal tests. I got a 5 in everything so that I was pleased about. But don't worry if you stay prepared then you're more likely to get great scores!

Oh my goodness! I can not believe how fast the years have flown. Don't worry teachers you will always be in my memory for as long as I live. Hope my cousin is doing well in 6R! I cannot believe I am in Year 7 . When the time comes you dont have to worry about how well or bad you do in the SAT'S just do the best you can! That is all you can do! Believe me Year 6 you WILL cry when you leave, EVEN THE BOYS! I didn't think I would but I did. By the way I am in Brecon in form 7BS and our head of house is Mr Chater. You are bound to be nervous on your first day, but trust me you will learn you way around within ten minutes flat! I am coming to watch you in the play everyone!
