On Thursday 11th October, we went on a trip to the Museum of Cannock Chase for a World War 2 experience! We took part in a drama workshop and could get dressed up as evacuees- it was so much fun! We also got to handle artefacts in the Homefront room and took part in a mock air raid! When the sirens went off, we had to put on our pretend gas masks and go underneath the tables, the room was dark so it felt very real! We then went to the 1940's room and could hear the moment that Neville Chamberlian announced on the wireless than we were at war with Germany- WOW! We had such a busy day and really enjoyed it!
Take a look at some of our photographs!!
