As part of the build up to our World War One fortnight to celebrate the centenary of the start of the War KS2 were treated to a theatre production detailing the key events that shaped The Great War.
We were taken from 1914 to 1918 on a whistle stop tour of the Great War at home and on the front line. We learned all about the conditions in trenches, the Christmas truce and what women’s roles were on the home front.
After the play we went back to classes to think about how the war shaped England and the rest of the world, hopefully you will see some of our fantastic work on display soon.
Just take a look at some of the pictures of us enjoying this fantastic day!
