Pulling apart flowers in Science

As part of our 'Life Cycles' topic in Science, we have been looking at the parts of a flower under a hand lens. In groups, we had lots of different types of flowers on our tables, that we carefully pulled apart to take a closer look inside. We saw the female parts of the flower, the Carpel, including the ovary, style & stigma, and the male parts of the flower, the Stamen, including the anther, filament and pollen.
It was so interesting to see these under the lens..take a look at what we could see!
