Rotary Club Spelling Competition 2014

For the third year in a row, we entered the spelling competition organised by the Rotary Club. Our team of four boys from Year 4 ( Koby Billingham, Umair Khan,  Owen Jackson and Amit Rajput) were up against teams from Northfield Road, Netherton C of E, Priory and Wren's Nest schools.

For all the questions, the children were allowed to confer before submitting just one answer. The spellings were very tricky and included such words as: ancient, separate, patient and conscious!

We were very proud of how the boys worked together and over the moon when they were announced as the winning team! This meant a cheque for school for £50.00.

All the boys were presented with a certificate, a prize book and a big bar of chocolate!
