Brendan Oakley - Chair of Governors
I’m Brendan Oakley, a 50+ year old happily married family man with two grown up kids (both went to Sledmere School) and living within walking distance of the School and whilst my day job is in the world of construction. I enjoy and am very proud to be part of the Sledmere School Governing Body.
I recognise the School is the heart of the community where my family lives, and being involved in any small way to help shape the future development of the school and most importantly give the very best opportunities and start to life to all those children at the school is extremely rewarding and fulfilling - something I would recommend for sure.
I am happy to be contacted via the school office. Please mark any correspondence 'For the attention of the Chair of Governors'.

Zareen Shaikh
My name is Zareen Shaikh and I am delighted to have been selected as Parent Governor for Sledmere Primary School. I am mother of two and my daughter attends Sledmere Primary. Besides being a mother and a house worker I also work for NHS part time. Through the role I hope to help the school continue to provide excellence in education and help to build relationships between the parents and the school.
