Science is a core subject. Our curriculum is progressive supporting the acquisition of knowledge, skills and language to enable pupils to apply an increasing degree of independence in science that will benefit their later education. Children will be able to use scientific terminology in their explanations. Sledmere possesses a strong focus on vocabulary in all subjects.
