ATTENDANCE & LATENESS

It is important that every child comes to school on time every day, as we know that good attendance leads to good progress.

We believe high levels of attendance and a punctual start to the school day are vital to all children. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil has access to the full time education to which they are entitled and as a result succeed and thrive. We endeavour for children to take responsibility for their own attendance, recognising the link between attendance and good learning.

The School Day

Gates are open for students from 8:30am. Doors close at 8:40am for the register to be taken. Students arriving any later than this are deemed as late.

Monday to Thursday children are dismissed at 3:25pm. On Friday’s children are dismissed at 1:20pm.

Across the week, children from Reception to Year 6 are accessing 32.5 hours of learning.

The Nursery School Day

Nursery timings are:

Morning Nursery – 8:30am – 11:30am

Afternoon Nursery – 12:20pm – 3:20pm

Full Time Nursery – 8:30 – 3:20pm
